Good morning! You can probably guess what this is... this is carrot seed essential oil, another incredible oil that I use in my Urban Country Organics Facial Serum 🙌🏻. Most of us know how healthy carrots are for our bodies when we eat them, but who knew that it is also a topical super power!?! Carrot seed oil, when applied to the skin, has many benefits including anti fungal, antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties. There is a difference between carrot oil and carrot seed essential oil. They are extracted differently (carrot oil is from the actual carrot whereas carrot essential oil is from cold-pressed, distilled carrot seeds) and contain different properties (the essential oil does not contain the same vitamins as carrot oil) however both have amazing benefits to our skin.
